Scouts Visit Steamtown Historic Site
October 2010
Pittston Boy Scout Troop 303 took a Saturday trip to visit the Steamtown National Historic Site. The scouts were able to combine a Boy Scout requirement and a day of enjoyment, and the boys spent the day seeing everything that the historical site had to offer. They went on a short train ride, walked through the History and Technology Museums, and explored the Roadhouse. The leaders were glad to be able to take the scouts on a trip where they learned about how fun and interesting our area's past can be.
